The most distinguishable characteristics of Bichoodles are their coats and ears, which can be long and hang loosely from their head. They have rounded eyes,a larger nose which can be brown, black or pink. Although they are usually small, they can be quite muscular. They have an average life expectancy of 15 years.
Most Bichoodles are good natured and have high spirits. They are also very smart, which means they respond well to training, and they are flexible, which means they can easily adapt to an environment with small children. They are also quite friendly, protective and make for good guard dogs.. Since Bichoodles are quite energetic, they need to have regular exercise.
The Bichoodles have coats that rarely shed, which means they don’t require much maintenance. But because it can get easily tangled, it’s important to have them groomed regularly to keep their hair smooth.
The Bichoodles come from mixing a Bichon Frise and a Poodle, bred primarily to suit those who prefer smaller dogs with a non-shedding wool coat. They are also referred to as Bichpoo and Bichonpoo, among others. This hybrid gained popularity in Australia in the 1990s.
